Shadow creeps over light
Orange fades behind the Earth,
its light diminishing,
faintly...faintly.
Hurt has been done,
now it suffers,
repaying those that caused it.
Atmospheric conditions fluactuates,
changes at will if not,
only to punish us.
Heat waves strike early,
beaming upon us,
as sweat fills the faces in rows.
Night wind blows usually,
a sudden gust swings open windows,
awaken the senses to what is occuring.
Influenza mutates unknowingly,
spreading in mediums unforeseen,
plague arises again.
Recent events/happenings around the world has been gloomy. Everyone's mind constantly has the thought of fear stashed away. Days pass by, casting a dark shadow upon us. More and more such events are occuring, only to serve as a sign.
Action must be taken...

Curiousity kills Dalvin,
why must wonder how molecules interact,
just let them react!!!
Hope i can do well for tml's test.
1 sign of studying chem too hard:
When you are bathing, you look at the ingredient list on the shampoo bottle. You notice all the weird chemicals, and try to decipher in your head how it looks like and react, whether it is phenol, alcohol or halogen derivatives.
I think i am going crazy...

Ryan overthrew michelle,
but another objective was achieved.
Lunch was good,
a duo of 2,
2 bowls of hot beehoon soup.
Tom Yam was shiok ah!
A session of calculations,
at 3-48,
went off track.
Ryan yr fault.
4 people around,
skittles going in,
chat coming out.
My skittles!!! haha
Topics were discussed,
with laughter abound,
happiness increases.
So happy
2 left,
2 remained,
talk continues.
Even happy
Enjoyed myself so much, a much needed relaxed session. Feel so rejuvenated.

"Psst" as the match lit up,
the flame eating into the wood,
as it falls.
Kaboom! Flashpoint!
The bud hits the rope,
the fibres lighting up.
Slowly charing away,
it unwinds itself.
See girls are not good at secrets
Swirling in the hand,
the palms became greased with oil.
The hands seperate,
as oil drips downwards.
But was i a part of it?
Bestowed with live,
the fire blazed.
Flickering flame eats away,
leaving blackened trails on the floor.
No I din spread it, i m innocent!!!
Speeding towards the point,
nothing can stop it.
It turns and winds,
coming into contact with the powder.
Maybe i am a little responsible...
Boom
jus a tiny weenie little bit

The epic finally of Gundam, and thus my post on Gundam.
Summary: Earth is running low on fossil fuels, and the construction of an orbital elevator which sends solar power down to Earth. In a bid to survive, countries all attempt to take it, leading to war. A team of 4 Gundam Meisters, under the organisation Celestial Being, engages on an armed intervention, in an attempt to stop all conflicts on Earth.
So ya, its war again. And its up to these few bestowed with the power of the Gundam to save the Earth. While epsiodes after episodes of people fighting, bloodshed and victory, one never fails to wonder whats the reason for fighting.
For example in the case of Azadistan in 00, its a war between religion. Do you forsake your religion in an attempt to gain power to continue running the country, or retain your identity and solve the problem yourself.
For the case of AEU, they were producing military units, yet the rise of Gundam results in an endless conflict between flags and Gundams.
For Gundam Meisters, they fight because of their past, to protect the present, to ensure a future.
All in all, it boils down to why fight. Do you fight to protect your ideals, for revenge, to save humanity, or simply for the sake of fighting. These thoughts keep springing up, as different characters in the show portray a different reason for fighting. Be a kid, a military soldier, or a mecenary who just wants money.
As the season comes to a close, the questions remains etched, only to solved on friday night. In the end, everyone was badly injured, both the war factions and Celestial Being. After that, all countries individual forces were dissolved and formed a united army under the UN. Finally the original plan of Celestial Being's existence became clear. By forming an armed intervention, Earth forces could only get together and be united in their fight against the Gundams.
And there u have it, a united Earth. But isn't it sad that it was only formed under such circumstances, and moreover, how long will it last?
Here's a last line:
Do you fight to end the fight?

The weather has been crazy recently. The sun, as if it has received a power up, is firing UV rays down on us more than ever. Saturday was simply killer. I swear the heat is murderous. Arhhh and worst, the weather is killing my appetite. Nothing worst then no appetite to eat dam. The onli thing i crave is ice water, ice water and more ice water!!!

Friday was jus epic, a highlight of the week.
Ryan!!! u think u funny ah...
Bio spa was jus bio spa. Spent the longest break of my week, typing email to my teacher in-charge for J1 exco. Maths was maths. Then after that, it was the official start of Math Study Group. Topic of the day was AP/GP. So for the whole afternoon, i attempted the questions in the pink book, which i must say isnt exactly easy. The 1st question already stunned me. Oh well, after hours of AP/GP, which was 20+ questions later, I am positive my AP/GP has improved.
P.Exing me on stage...
At 6.30, we went to see Mr Foo getting dunked. Haha, it was hilarous. When he was on the "hot seat", he was acting, "foo"ish. If u try and throw the ball and u miss, he suans u. Lolz. So well, being his CT class we decided to be nice to him. On the pretence that Ryan was going to take a photo, Wendy pushed the bar and "plooped" down he went. The expression on his face was priceless haha. Then Zu Yao joined us for dinner.
Oh ya i think Wendy is
7.30, and it was the start of NYJC's CCS Bai Yun Gang 2009(Direct translation is white cloud vat, so u get the gist). I must say the $8 was totally worth it(no I am not saying this bcos Sushan will read it, its true). I truly enjoyed it. The 1st play was very touching, and somehow i guess it relates to people, cos there were many that cried, but nothing wrong with it. If those who watched it din feel a thing, I dun noe wat to say( Ryan your forgiven as u might not understand). It was about this insurance guy, who onli learnt to appreciate his dad after he lost him. A simple and classic storyline, yet brought through in a way which touched me.
getting a sniff of what is going on
2nd play was about the obession of "skinniness". Somehow Singapore became a nation where people do not survive on food but some vitamin jab. Then the friendship of 2 fat girls slowly crumbles under the pressure, and how it ensues to a sad ending. The story was brought about in a rather "poetic" way. They kinda used dance to express how the organs suffer cos of lack of food(which left Ryan blur). An artistic exposure to me. But i must say, the 2nd play was not really linked to "hong shao pai gu", or maybe i jus missed the point. Well all in all, through the hard work and effort that the CCS members had put in, as seen from those 2 zombies in our class, Bai Yun Gang 2009 was truly a success :)
Tell u in sch or msn...no space
After that we were actually deciding on where to go, macs, N&B, chomp chomp etc. In the end cos of the time, i had to go off 1st. So Zu Yao, Wendy and Michelle went to eat at macs/chomp chomp i think. I am so sorry, i really wanted to go but ya I've been going out a lot, so must cut down or my parents will think I am becoming playful. So sorry guys, I really wanted to go, really. Talking bout outings, I must seriously cut my outings, drastically if not totally. I gotta stay at home more and study. My mid years will most probably decide if i stay with 4h2 or go to 3h2, unless something drastic happens on the way.
Oh ya not to forget, Gundam 00 last episode was also on fri and it was an epic ending!!!

Good Friday was good.
Left my house at 8 to meet 0804nians at paya lebar. Met up with Joseph, Wendy, Zu Yao and then we went to take bus to East Coast. Had Breakfast there while waiting for the rest, dam crowded. Considering the others will take a while, we decided to rent a bike 1st. So we cycled to the shorter end of ECP, with Ryan and Sushan joining us. After Jia Yen and Jeremy joined us, we all cycled to the further Changi end.
Took us like 1 hr. Could not do much "no hand cycling" as there was lots of ppl around. Managed to practice more at the changi end. :)
Then we had lunch at subway. Chicken teriyaki parmesan oregano, 6 inch, large ice lemon tea, brownie and cookie. Dam satisfied. Suddenly it poured, so we jus sat n chatted.
Topics we talked about:
1) My makeover
2) Persuading Wendy to pang seh her sec sch mates
Yup then we decided to go to arcade, it conveniently stopped raining :). So we went to virtualand on top of burger kings. The arcade there is dam cheap, each token is like 50 cents onli. Played Time crisis, Teken 5 High Definition and Initial D. Initial D appeared fun, although somehow it defies logic haha.
After arcade, we decided to learn roller blading from Zu Yao. Free coach! So my PW group, Wendy, Joseph and Me rented and learn, while Sushan and Jeremy watched. Managed to learn much from Zu Yao, moving forwards, braking, slide stop. I think i was the noobest of all. But I've always wanted to learn how to roller blade. A simple pair of blades should be around $100, and i can practice in my condo :) woopie!
At nite, mich and terence "pang seh" us. To make matters worst, we were going to serangoon garden to meet them, and then they like that...Haiz. In the end met Ryan and Zhi Yong at Astons, bought dinner and went to spider web again.
Topics we talked about:
1) PW
2) Something which i avoided
3) My makeover again...
Many more
A nice day spent entirely with 0804 :) Too bad I din managed to send wendy home...
All these outings, and a few Facebook quizzes made me realize how much i value my friendship with 0804, and also the chatting times we all have.
Here's the description of my 0804 kantang meister quiz: You value friendships to the highest degree. You may seem quiet to those who do not know you, but for the fortunate who do they know you are always there for them whenever they need it, wherever they need it. You put great importance in your honour, and will do anything to uphold it.
I think its very true. I am quiet among strangers, but as i slowly get to warm up with people, i become more open. Jus compare between Dalvin(1/3/08) and Dalvin(1/1/09). I'm sure u all would have noticed the difference. Oh well, jus glad to have 0804nians around me :)

The wait's finally over. 1 year of hardwork has finally paid off. Well NY018 did pretty well. So here I am, doing a post totally to tribute to them.
Hmmm, let me recall. The 1st time we actually got into a team was during march, the 1st time PP announced our groupings. Then we sat down, and discussed bout the various positions to be filled, well actually the only post important was PW leader. Took a short vote, like 1 min, and tada, Sharon!
Then we started brainstorming on our topic, Internet Gaming! Kinda funny how we decided. We were thinking bout a topic that we are most familiar with, so considering that our group comprises of 4 gamers (no kudos to any1 who guess who is the odd 1 out). So we went about it all, PI, WR, OP etc...Those times were so great. We get to meet together, sit down n discuss, chat, laugh, discuss games, chat more, laugh more haha.
Now to giv u all a detailed breakdown of our group's dynamics:
Sharon: The almighty group leader. A very level-headed person. She is very good at organisation. She gets us ahead, makes us focus on the topic. She plans almost everything, what to do, when to be done, who to do it. But she is also not autocratic(is tis the correct word to use?), she asks if we can cope with what we are given. If nt she will reallocate. So nice. Oh ya she also likes to jokes with us. All in all, a great PW leader!!!
Yvonne: NY018's IT Head. Our helmsWoman at the computer. Every and anything to do about IT, just ask her. She can solve any IT problem there is. She is also a pro at using short cuts. What I normally need to click alot to do, she just type type abit n tada! She is also the director/producer of the the wonderful that we gaming video that we presented. I dun noe how she did it, but the day before we were like discussing bout doing a video to show how internet gaming has progressed, then the next she brought her laptop with. She showed us her video and we were all like waaa!!! It was awesome la! The music, videos and synchronisation. OMG!!! godly. Our OP goes to her!!! Without her, our drafts, powerpoint and everything would not be as good.
Wendy: Ah Ma/ Cyber Awareness Programme(CAP) Head. She's basically the one in-charge of our CAP. Everything down to the last detail is done to her. She's also our secretary. All the notes taking is done by her. Haha for those who know Wendy, u will know y our meeting notes are all very colourful. Makes it more interesting to look at too. She's also kinda like the michelle in our group. Haha maybe its because she doesn't play internet games. Then we make fun of her, she will somehow push it to joseph, then joseph will be like "eh?". Haha group dynamics.
Joseph: Master Researcher. Also the top gamer in our group. When any of us have any problem in trying to get resource to back up our points, jus look for Joseph. U jus tell him, somehow he will send u the research material shortly. Dun noe how he do, but he can. Tadah, our master researcher.
Me: Ah Boy. STOP! camp coordinator. Using past experiences from camps and overseas experience, as well as refrences from the Korea refrence, we came up with STOP!. Hmm...what i actually contribute ah??? I cant really rememeber...but i try to help out in anyway possible. Oh ya the slides are by me :). Also am the lead actor of the Ah Boy skit haha. Tat was dam fun.
So ya, thats basically everyone in our team. A wonderful and united team whom I've spent months with. We never quarrel, never bicker, jus had fun. Yes PW was an ardous journey, but NY018 made it alot more enjoyable! Yipee!!! GO NY018!!!
Also thks to those that helped us in a way or another. :)

Rythmic sound that is pleasant to the ears
It plays in every heart
Of every single person
It is of that individual
And to each his own
The ability to hear it we all have
What is needed is to forget everything
Clear yourself of distractions
And listen...
Music is something which is very special. People of all races, all gender and ages listen to it. It connects everyone. Music pleases all. No matter what music u appreciate, there will be someone somewhere on this planet which appreciates as much as u do. For me, J-rock is my music. Its the kind of music that not many singaporeans appreciate. And I do not like all kinds of J-rock. I mostly like those that are fast-paced, with electric guitar. I love the rythm, the singing, and especially the meaningful lyrics. Some of the J-bands I like include, TM Revolution, UVERworld, Tetra Fang, Nana Mizuki etc. Currently, continuing my quest of mermorising Jap songs lyrics. Which isnt exactly easy. U can try...

I think its dam fun to be able sing Jap songs. But sadly in class bout less than 4 knows how to appreciate it.
The eyelids weigh down
U gradually reach into your bag
The earphones go into your ear
The selected song plays
Your ears has first contact
Your blood flows
Your heart beats faster
In anticipation
The first line starts
Your mouth mutters
The mind slowly opens to music
Tat's how I start my day everyday. :)
Currently memorising UVERworld Colors of the Heart, foresee it will take pretty long. Kambatte!!!

I have lost all feelings to my leg.
Yet in return I have gained 50% mastery to cycling without hands, yes without hands :)
Spent the day at East Coast. Took bus from hougang to paya lebar then to parkway parade then walk. Went to rent a bike to go and find my YJC PAE friends. Then after i finished cycling with them, I carried on cycling with my cousins. Wow total 3 hours of cycling. My legs have been so tired b4. But something good came out of it. I managed to learn how to cycle without hands!!! Well not totally, onli partially. So far I can cycle for a considerable distance with my hands at my back in optimum condition. But I cannot do any sharp turns yet. Oh well lets take things slowly. It was fun to be able to cycle after so long.
And to be able to let the wind rush through your face. Slowly take in the sights, look at the clear blue sky, the beach goers and the not so blue sea water. Lolz by nightfall there, there was lots of couples there...haha
Nice dating place sia
I noe! Next week good friday!!! We can have an 0804 outing!!! Cycle (hehe showoff) then buffet!!! Who's in???

Yay friday is here again. And it was one of the best friday I ever got.
Started school at 9. After 2 hour of slack bio practical, school ends!!! Yipee. Then we took our time slowly eat Fried Day Oishii. Seeing there's so much time ahead of us, we went to Drum to do homework. I am feeling dam happy today. Managed to complete lots of work. Apps of Integration, Bio Spa, Halogen derivatives tutorial, Permutation and Combination. Woot tats lot of work done within 1 afternoon. Also had satisfying chicken chop outside of sch. All hail Dalvin's infinitely large stomach that allows him to eat without growing fat!!! (Girls envy haha). Happiness index raises significantly.
Then nite was PTM. It was kinda funny actually. Went in, and our convo started:
Mr Foo: Hi
Parents: Hi
Mr Foo: Actually U all no need come
I was like...errrr...lolz. Wat a weird way to start PTM.
So now that I hv told u who she is...what next?
Then he saying my results were ok. But he was having doubts bout ppl taking 4h2. Here's the reasoning. Given that uni onli take into account of 3h2, it means our best 3h2s will be taken, and the last h2 will be downgraded. Given tat h1 contents are onli half of the h2 content, and the tests are easier, it means that it would be easier to score A for h1. Scoring A for h1 is definitely better than scoring B for h2. This is what Mr Foo claims to be strategic planning. Sounds so convincing. It made me think bour dropping to 3h2, but there's a part in me tats reluctant. Arhhh decisions!!!
I was surprised u din press me further when i told u
Haiz now wat...

I failed Bio T.T
The land has been ravaged by the long drawn battle between the two metal giants. The clash was inevitable. Every single blow has resulted in the land being drasticaly. Drift marks are carved into the ground, boulders rock down the slope as they crash into it, beams leaving huge cravaces on the desert floor. Yet the Gundams continue their fight. Akatsuki's armor gleamed under the blazing sun, in face of the lightly blue colored Exia. Akatsuki has been holding on, but the cosmic era generation Gundam is no match against the GN drive.
Sweat drips down Dalvin's face. He was at his limit. The fight had exhausted him. He was stretched to his limit. No matter what he did, the Exia was faster. His screen beeped alive, as a red GN beam streamed towards him. Dalvin stepped on the paddle, the thrusters came alive, as Akatsuki strafed sideways. The beam missed by inches, but Dalvin gritted his teeth as the G-force eats into his body. He clicked the trigger, but Exia was gone before his beam even came close. Dalvin pushed his trigger forwards, and his Gundam burst forwards. The six dragoons on its thrusters detached, and homed in on their target. The six beams intertwined, but the Exia dodged it with ease. The GN blade on its right hand swung forwards, as green GN particles lit up the blade. Within seconds, Exia made short work of the dragoons.
Akatsuki rocked, as the blade cut straight through the right arm. Dalvin boosted away, riping off the right arm, leaving circuits dangling. Exia drew out the two daggers on its waist, and released it. One seared through the head, while the other missed the cockpit by inches. The right monitor burst into sparks as the beam cut through. Shards flew, cutting through the protective suit. Akatsuki crashed to the ground, and the cockpit died. Dalvin ejected the cockpit door, as he climbed out. He clutched his bleeding right arm, as he stared down at his Gundam. It was wrecked. He looked up the Exia. Its cockpit opened, as the Kantang Meister stepped out. It was Ryan!
Ya...tat is how big the difference is between Ryan and me. No I hv no feud against Ryan, its just a comparison.
Some of u might be wondering why I am so worried bout results. Well...I just have to say its cos of my mum ba. Since primary sch, my mum has never pressurized me to study. She just sees me studying, and she's ok. Whenever I do badly, she never scolds, she would just say," Just try harder next time." So somehow I guess its this tat pushes my desire for good grades(whether I can achieve it or not). I just do not wish to disappoint her. Passive pressure? Haiz...gotta buck up to get grades like Ryan's...ARHHHH!!!
